Our partners
AMPORTS works closely with a variety of partners, including Port Authorities at each terminal, the Coast Guard, and local communities, to realize its vision of being the premier automotive services and port terminal operator.
Port Authority
AMPORTS plays a crucial role at the Port of Baltimore’s Atlantic Terminal, managing one of its two berths while the Maryland Port Administration (MPA) oversees the other. Through a unique partnership, AMPORTS and MPA collaborate to optimize the use of both piers, ensuring maximum flexibility and efficiency for customers. As a member of the Quality Cargo Handling Action Team (QCHAT), AMPORTS works closely with port stakeholders to uphold high standards, address challenges, and enhance cargo handling operations. For inquiries about using AMPORTS’ pier at the Atlantic Terminal, including pricing and tariffs, contact sales@amports.com. Customized fees are available based on specific requirements and facility impact.
Coast Guard
Atlantic has its own facility security plan that is approved by the U.S. Coast Guard. They come randomly to audit AMPORTS. When there are weather events we work closely with the Maryland Port Administration and the United States Coast Guard Captain of the Port to execute our contingency plans following their guidelines.
Community
During Thanksgiving, all three Baltimore terminals come together for a food drive benefiting local charities. Through ticket giveaways, gifts, and other initiatives, they raise funds to support these organizations. Additionally, during Christmas, they distribute care packages to vessel line workers who will be on duty at the port, ensuring that they feel appreciated during the holiday season.
