The process at Freeport begins once the cargo has been offloaded from the vessel and placed at point of rest. Right away we begin reconciling the cargo, providing an OS&D (Over, Short and Damage) report to the shipping line representatives. We offer real-time inventory and provide detailed photos through our online tracking system, allowing you to monitor the shipment in realtime. We receive export cargo by truck, rail or barge, which enables us to handle various types of shipments.

Our terminal is a self-load/unload port for self-propelled cargo, with assistance readily available as needed. For non-running or static cargo we have a fleet of heavy-duty equipment, including two 70-ton cranes, a 45-ton reach stacker, a 25-ton heavy lift and various forklifts, enabling us to take on the most demanding projects. No matter the size or complexity of the cargo Amports has the resources to ensure the job is done safely and efficiently.

These include inspections, fuel, maintenance, external washes and specialized services, such as heat treatment for Oceania exports.
