Amports Reflects on a Transformative 2025 and Looks Ahead to 2026

Strategic growth, expanded capabilities, and continued momentum across AMPORTS’ global terminal network

As Amports enters 2026, the company is reflecting on a year of growth, strategic investment, and continued progress across its North American and international terminal network.

In early 2025, AMPORTS strengthened its intermodal capabilities across its Atlantic and Chesapeake terminals, supporting expanded rail services for a key customer, CSX. During this time, AMPORTS also joined the Steamship Trade Association of Baltimore, reinforcing our commitment to collaboration and industry leadership.

Building on that momentum, Amports launched new stevedoring operations in June through its subsidiary, Baltimore Port Terminal (BPT). The expansion broadened service offerings and delivered greater flexibility and end-to-end solutions for customers operating through these terminals.

Further advancing its integrated logistics strategy, Amports introduced its first-ever rail services at the Freeport terminal in August, achieving strong early results and reinforcing the company’s commitment to seamless port, rail, and processing solutions.

International growth was also a priority in 2025. In September, Amports expanded its Lázaro Cárdenas terminal in Mexico with the development and launch of a new, world-class yard designed to support the growing needs of customers in this key market.

Environmental stewardship remained a central focus throughout the year. Under the company’s “Driving Towards a Clean Future” campaign, Amports accelerated sustainability initiatives across its network. Highlights included the implementation of STAX Engineering emissions-capture technology at the Port of Benicia to support cleaner operations and regulatory compliance in California, as well as joining Green Marine, a leading environmental certification program for the maritime industry. Additional actions, from a corporate cleanup to electric vehicle investments, continued to strengthen Amports’ commitment to the communities it serves.

Despite ongoing uncertainty related to tariffs in 2025, Amports’ teams demonstrated resilience, innovation, and operational excellence, delivering consistent results for customers across markets.

Looking ahead, Amports will continue building on this momentum in 2026 as the supply chain enabler of choice, delivering integrated port, processing, rail, and logistics solutions with an unwavering commitment to safety, quality, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
