Terry Smith is the Terminal Manager at our Benicia Terminal in California, where she plays a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient workflow. Before joining Amports in March 1998, Terry proudly served in the Air Force, retiring from the Reserves on November 30, 2011. During her military career, she was the Clinic Superintendent responsible for the health and wellness of over 4,000 members.
Over the years Terry‘s role at Amports has evolved significantly. She began as a utility worker and progressed through various positions, including ISO/Safety Coordinator, GM Account Coordinator, GM Facility Manager, Operations Manager and now Terminal Manager. In her current role, she oversees all operations at the Benicia and Antioch facilities, ensuring they meet key performance indicators (KPIs) while managing customer relations, budgeting and production goals.
