AMPORTS MEXICO begins managing Daimler’s yard located at the plant of Santiago Tianguistenco, Estado de Mexico.


AMPORTS MEXICO was awarded a contract for the operation and management of Daimler Vehiculos Comerciales yard located in Santiago Tianguistenco, Estado de Mexico; this plant produces Freightliner Trucks.


Freightliner Trucks are a division of Daimler Trucks North America, the largest manufacturer of heavy-duty vehicles in North America and a leading manufacturer of medium-duty vehicles. Daimler Trucks North America designs, builds and markets a wide range of Class 3-8 vehicles.


As a Daimler company, Freightliner brings to bear the vast research and development capabilities, technological expertise and global business resources of the world’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer.


AMPORTS de Mexico will bring immediate advantages to this new operation at Santiago’s plant with the implementation of a Vehicle Tracking System to improve controls in the plant, which will offer inventory visibility and the capability for real time information that will allow a better decision making. Our system will track the vehicle from the moment the unit is released out of the assembly line, until it´s finally delivered to a dealership.
